Mike Walker, RLA - Director of Sports Genesis

"I truly believe it is everyone's duty to do the best they can to make the world a better place.  I am thrilled to be the director of Sports Genesis.  This program allows me to do what I have a passion for and  make a difference in the world we all live in and share."

Mike is a published author of "The Field Guide: The Layout and Dimensions of Sports Fields" and a licensed landscape architect in the State of Colorado.  Mike is an expert in the design of athletic fields who has planned or been involved in the design of well over 50 sports fields or sports complexes throughout the United States.  He has been personally involved in the design of the majority of the Colorado Rockies Field of Dream Fields including the Todd Helton Field, at Salisbury Equestrian Park in Parker, Colorado, and the Mike Lansing Field, a minor league stadium for the Casper Ghosts in Casper, Wyoming. 

The experience gained from the Rockies Fields led to other projects around the country.  The Los Angeles Dodgers took notice of the Rockies Fields and soon followed with the same type of field program. Working with one of the most prestigious and historically rich teams in professional baseball, Mike was one of the prime consultants who designed many of the Dodger Dream Fields.  Seoul International Park with its synthetic turf field is the jewel of his Dodgers Field portfolio.
