Planning is a highly specialized profession and takes hundreds of hours to properly coordinate, analyze, program and design a potential site. Below outlines how the funds will be allocated per the associated chart above. Our goal is to provide 8-10 community master plan projects per year to the agency or district in need. Community Projects: As projects are awarded through the indentification process professionals with the required experience in the Landscape Architecture, Architecture and Engineering industries will be contracted to master plan a project. The selection of the professional will be dependent on the specific needs of the project. The project manager for each Community Application Projects will be responsible to develop all base map(s); determine the initial park use program provide colored Conceptual Master Plan; provide summary of estimated design fee and provide initial construction cost opinion based off the Conceptual Master Plan. Administration: To direct and manage the program. These duties include but are not limited to the responsibility for all fund raising activities; to create, develop and maintain the Sports Genesis website, create and coordinate the Sports Genesis advisory board; to direct and coordinate the application selection process, prepare and coordinate the Memorandum of Understanding between Sports Genesis and Community Application Projects; over see and coordinate all selected Community Application Projects. These dutues also include the development of the Sports Genesis logo, letterhead, office forms and the application package; receive the application requests; prepare and send application packages, coordinate quarterly e-letters and press releases; prepare recognition and project updates, prepare necessary billing and invoice statements and all other general office activities. Accounting: A flat 10% fee goes towards the required accounting services to run and process the necessary documents for a 501(c) (3) non-profit program. This includes creating and managing a “Restrictive Account” for all funds raised, track allocated expenditures, provide running reports on budget-to-actual aspects of individual projects and the associated reports; be responsible for all necessary documents, forms and required filings to the State of Colorado and the IRS; prepare and coordinate the formal letters of recognition to supporters stating their contributions, including their EIN, so that donors can indicate on for tax purposes that their gift(s) is tax-deductible. |
